CitizenResident’s Pensionado Visa Coordination Package — Basic helps retirees and lifetime pension income recipients organize the essential Panama Pensionado process, including document checklist coordination, pension evidence organization, legal partner communication, filing workflow coordination and basic follow-up.
The Pensionado Visa Coordination Package — Basic is designed for retirees, pensioners and lifetime pension income recipients who want a structured and efficient way to organize the core Pensionado Visa process in Panama.
This package is appropriate for clients who need help coordinating documents, professional communication and filing workflow, but do not require premium relocation extras such as bank account coordination, airport VIP pass, transportation, SIM card support or cédula coordination as part of the initial service.
It is a practical starting point for clients who want clarity, organization and professional coordination without expanding the package beyond the essential process.
This package may be suitable for clients who:
receive a lifetime pension or retirement income;
want a focused Pensionado Visa coordination process;
are comfortable managing their own travel logistics;
do not need bank account coordination at the initial stage;
prefer translations to be quoted separately;
want basic filing workflow follow-up;
want a simpler starting package before deciding whether to add premium support.
The Basic Package may include coordination of:
initial intake and project organization;
Pensionado document checklist;
pension income document organization;
dependent document review workflow, when applicable;
apostille or consular legalization guidance;
communication with the independent immigration professional;
filing workflow coordination;
pending-item tracking;
basic follow-up after submission;
orientation regarding possible next steps after approval.
The final approved proposal should confirm the exact scope, limits, pricing and exclusions.
1. Pensionado profile and pension source review
The process begins with confirming whether the Pensionado route is appropriate for the client’s profile. The legal review is handled by an independent licensed immigration professional.
The key issue is not only the pension amount. The pension source, lifetime nature, documentation and dependent structure should be reviewed before the client begins legalizing documents or planning travel.
2. Document checklist coordination
CitizenResident helps organize the document checklist based on the requirements confirmed by the professional partner.
The National Immigration Service lists documents such as power of attorney, photographs, passport copy, criminal background certificate, health certificate, sworn personal background form and pension certification.
3. Pension income evidence
The applicant must generally prove a lifetime pension of at least B/.1,000.00 per month. If the pension comes from a private company, pension administrator, trust, insurance structure or similar source, additional supporting documents may be required.
CitizenResident helps organize the document flow so the professional partner can review the file more efficiently.
4. Dependent document coordination
If the client includes a spouse or dependents, CitizenResident may help coordinate civil documents, income support information and dependent documentation.
The official requirement sheet refers to additional solvency of B/.250.00 per month per dependent and includes specific treatment for dependent children and certain disabled dependents.
5. Apostille, legalization and translation guidance
Documents issued abroad may need apostille or consular legalization before they can be submitted in Panama. The Embassy of Panama states that all documents issued abroad must be duly authenticated by the Panamanian Consulate or apostilled before being submitted to the attorney in Panama.
In the Basic Package, authorized translations are generally quoted separately unless expressly included in the approved proposal.
6. Filing workflow coordination
Once the file is ready, the independent immigration professional handles the filing before the competent authority.
CitizenResident helps coordinate the workflow, pending items and communication, but does not act as the filing attorney or representative before the authority.
7. Basic follow-up
After filing, CitizenResident may help coordinate basic follow-up with the professional partner regarding pending items, status updates and next steps.
Government processing times and decisions are outside CitizenResident’s control.
Unless expressly added in the approved proposal, the Basic Package does not include:
authorized translations;
Panama bank account coordination;
airport VIP pass coordination;
airport-to-city transportation;
local SIM card assistance;
cédula coordination;
tax or accounting review;
real estate assistance;
corporate or foundation services;
long-term long-term post-approval coordination support;
government fees;
bank fees;
courier, apostille, consular or notarial fees abroad;
third-party costs not expressly included.
For mobile UX, this section should appear as a collapsed accordion titled “What is not included”.
The Basic Package is ideal for clients who want a focused, efficient and organized approach to the essential Pensionado Visa process.
It helps reduce confusion around documents, timing and professional communication while keeping optional relocation extras separate.
For many clients, this is the right starting point: structured enough to avoid disorganization, but simple enough to remain focused on the core process.
Clients who later want additional support may request selected add-ons or upgrade to the Premium Package when available.
The Premium Package may be more appropriate for clients who want translations, banking coordination, airport arrival support, transportation, local SIM card assistance and cédula coordination included in the approved scope.
CitizenResident helps coordinate the workflow, document organization, communication and follow-up. Immigration advice, eligibility review, legal opinions, filings and representation before authorities are handled by independent licensed professionals. Government decisions, processing times and document acceptance are outside CitizenResident’s control.
