The client may need to prepare a bank profile, organize source-of-funds documentation, coordinate fund transfers, create the fixed-term deposit, organize MICI and immigration evidence, travel to Panama with family, obtain resident cards, coordinate cédula steps, evaluate tax ID needs and manage post-approval obligations.
The Premium Package adds a practical, higher-touch coordination layer to the bank deposit residency process.

Phase 1 — Strategy, family profile and project roadmap
Confirm the bank deposit route, family scope, banking sequence, relocation needs and documentation priorities before onboarding begins.
Estimated time: 2–5 business days
Phase 2 — Banking profile, documents and source-of-funds preparation
Prepare the client file for bank, legal and authority review, including foreign-document legalization or translation where required.
Estimated time: 1–4 weeks, depending on document availability and country of issue
Phase 3 — Bank onboarding and enhanced compliance follow-up
Coordinate KYC submission, provider communication and follow-up. Account approval remains exclusively subject to the financial institution’s compliance review.
Estimated time: 2–6+ weeks after a complete banking file is submitted
Phase 4 — Funds transfer and qualifying fixed-term deposit
Coordinate transfer timing, intermediary-bank questions and the documentation needed for creation of the qualifying fixed-term deposit.
Estimated time: 1–3 weeks after the account is ready and transfer instructions are confirmed
Phase 5 — Deposit evidence, MICI and immigration-file preparation
Organize the bank certificate, deposit evidence and supporting documentation needed for the Qualified Investor filing.

Phase 6 — Immigration filing and authority review
Licensed immigration counsel handles the regulated filing and representation. Additional authority requests may extend the review.

Phase 7 — Panama arrival and permanent-resident card coordination
Coordinate family travel, resident-card steps, local connectivity and approved arrival support.

Phase 8 — Cédula, tax ID and local settlement follow-up
Coordinate the post-approval items expressly included in the approved proposal, which may include cédula, tax ID and local rental support.

The Premium Package is recommended for clients who want the bank deposit route coordinated as a full banking, residency, travel and post-approval experience.
It is especially valuable for investors relocating with family, clients arriving in Panama for the first time, or clients who want a smoother transition after approval.
After the Qualified Investor Visa process is completed, some clients may want ongoing support for annual investment-maintenance reminders, updated bank certifications, bank communications, tax ID follow-up, cédula, document organization or communication with different professionals.
In that case, CitizenResident may offer the ongoing post-approval coordination service as a separate continuity service.

No. Bank approval depends exclusively on the bank’s compliance review. CitizenResident helps coordinate the workflow but cannot guarantee account opening or fixed-term deposit acceptance.
Company or foundation coordination may be included only when expressly stated in the approved proposal. Legal, tax, banking and asset-planning advice must be provided by independent professionals.
Does the minimum deposit increase No. The minimum qualifying deposit does not increase only because the applicant includes eligible dependents. However, professional fees, government expenses, document costs and post-approval steps may vary depending on the number of family members.with dependents?
No. Annual investment maintenance is not included unless expressly stated. It may be quoted separately or included under the ongoing post-approval coordination service.
No. The Special Travel Passport application is not included. It may be evaluated separately after permanent residence approval, subject to current regulation and eligibility.
