Residency & Immigration
CitizenResident’s Basic Bank Deposit Package helps eligible Friendly Nations applicants organize the essential workflow for Panama residency through the fixed-term deposit option, including nationality coordination, preliminary due diligence, banking profile preparation, source-of-funds documentation, document legalization, translation workflow, bank deposit coordination and immigration workflow tracking.
The Panama Friendly Nations Visa — Bank Deposit — Basic Package is designed for eligible applicants who want a structured but focused coordination path for the fixed-term deposit option.
This package helps organize the core workflow around nationality/category coordination, preliminary due diligence, banking profile preparation, source-of-funds documentation, document collection, timeline planning, legal partner communication, fixed-term deposit workflow and immigration process coordination.
The Basic Package is not designed as a full relocation or post-approval support package. Airport VIP pass, transportation, SIM card, local rental coordination, cédula coordination, tax ID coordination and future permanent residence follow-up are not included unless separately quoted.
This package may be suitable for clients who:
are citizens of an eligible Friendly Nation;
prefer a bank deposit route instead of real estate or employment;
need help preparing a bank profile before applying;
need support organizing source-of-funds documentation;
understand that bank approval is not guaranteed;
do not need airport, local rental or settlement support;
prefer post-approval steps to be quoted separately;
want a clear action plan before starting the banking workflow.
The Basic Package may include coordination of:
nationality and category coordination;

The final proposal should confirm exact scope, limits, pricing and exclusions.
1. Nationality and category coordination
CitizenResident helps coordinate the initial review with the legal partner to confirm whether the applicant’s nationality and preferred bank deposit route align with current Friendly Nations requirements.
2. Preliminary due diligence
CitizenResident helps organize the client’s preliminary documentation for bank, legal and immigration workflows. This may include identification documents, proof of address, criminal record certificates, family documents, source-of-funds evidence and financial background information.
3. Roadmap and timeline
CitizenResident prepares a practical action plan that shows what should be completed before bank onboarding, what can move in parallel and what must wait for bank, legal or authority confirmation.
4. Banking profile preparation
The bank may request KYC forms, tax declarations, financial background, bank references, corporate documents or evidence explaining the origin of funds. CitizenResident helps coordinate document flow and communication.
5. Document legalization and translation workflow
Foreign documents may require apostille or consular legalization, and documents not issued in Spanish may require authorized translation.
6. Bank account and fixed-term deposit coordination
The Friendly Nations bank deposit route requires bank approval before the qualifying deposit can be created. The bank remains solely responsible for onboarding, compliance review and deposit acceptance.
7. Immigration workflow
Once the bank deposit evidence and supporting documents are organized, the responsible professional may coordinate immigration filing.
8. Basic post-filing orientation
The Basic Package may include limited post-filing orientation, but resident card logistics, cédula, tax ID, travel support and future permanent residence follow-up are quoted separately unless expressly included.
Unless expressly added in the approved proposal, the Basic Package does not include:
tax advice;
financial advice;
bank approval;
fixed-term deposit acceptance;
government fees;
bank charges;
transfer fees;
apostille, consular, notary or courier costs;
airport VIP pass;
airport-to-city transportation;
local SIM card assistance;
local rental coordination;
cédula coordination;
Panama tax ID coordination;
future permanent residence follow-up;
ongoing post-approval coordination service.
The Basic Package is ideal for eligible Friendly Nations applicants who want a focused coordination path before starting bank onboarding, transferring funds or preparing the immigration workflow.
It helps reduce confusion around sequencing, providers, documents and banking requirements without adding premium relocation extras.
Clients who later want airport VIP pass, transportation, SIM card, family travel coordination, local rental support, cédula coordination, tax ID coordination, enhanced post-approval organization or future permanent residence tracking may request add-ons or upgrade to the Premium Package when available.
CitizenResident helps coordinate the workflow, document organization, provider communication and follow-up. Legal advice, immigration advice, banking advice, tax advice, filing and representation before authorities are handled by independent licensed professionals, regulated institutions or competent authorities.
